Privacy policy

Purpose. This private family website is used for family scheduling, household budgeting, shared child-related expenses, receipts, child maintenance planning, parenting agreement records, useful information about Mia, daily journal updates, health, injury and medication notes, goals, debt planning, account administration and bug reports.

Personal data held

The site may hold names, email addresses, residential addresses, telephone numbers, profile pictures, account roles, household labels, calendar entries, nursery/pick-up/drop-off notes, budgeting records, expenses, receipts, maintenance calculations, payment records, savings goals, debts, useful information records, bug reports, IP addresses and audit log entries.

Your confidential data

Your personal budget, goals, debts and private contact details are your own. They are not viewable by other users unless the app explicitly identifies a record as shared, household-related, child-related, or part of an agreement/financial responsibility.

Child data

Mia is recorded as a virtual child profile. She does not need a login, email address or phone number. Adults may record information needed by people taking responsibility for her care, such as nursery, GP, health visitor, social worker and emergency contact details.

How data is used

The data is used only for household planning, co-parenting scheduling, shared-expense evidence, indicative maintenance records, agreement drafting, care information, account administration, security auditing and bug investigation.

Downloading and removal

Users can download a ZIP containing their own data from Profile. Users can also submit a data-removal request from Profile; submitting that request suspends the account and asks the system administrator to complete removal within 3-5 working days.

Security

The site should be used only over HTTPS. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes. Receipt files are stored outside the public web root when installed as instructed. Access is role and permission based.

Retention

Some records may be retained where required for household accounting, child arrangements, shared-expense evidence, agreement history, audit history or legal/financial record keeping. Where possible, deleted users are removed; where records depend on them, identifying details are removed and the account is hidden/disabled.

References

Privacy notices should explain what personal data is used, why it is used, how long it is kept and what rights people have. This policy should be reviewed against the real operating arrangements before wider use.

Contact

Privacy or data queries should be raised with the system administrator.
